Travel Emergency Room RN / ER Registered Nurse - Nights

Care Career is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Asheville, North Carolina.

Position Details
Position: Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)
Facility: Mission Hospital – Emergency Department
Shift: Nights (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM )
Schedule and Requirements
Night shift: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM .
Every other weekend required.
Block scheduling is not available .
Must float within all areas of the Emergency Department (no floating outside the ED).
Schedule is based on department needs.
Required Experience

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience .
• At least 1 year of Emergency Department experience .
• 2 years of Level II Trauma Center experience required.
• Experience in a Comprehensive Stroke Center .
• Experience in a high-volume Emergency Department (100,000+ annual visits) .
• Strong teamwork, flexibility, and ability to coach and provide real-time feedback.
• Previous HCA experience preferred.

Required Certifications

BLS

ACLS

PALS

TNCC

CPI

NIHSS

ENPC (must be obtained within 90 days of hire )
Key Responsibilities
Provide emergency nursing care for medical, trauma, stroke, and behavioral health patients.
Perform patient assessments, monitoring, and emergency interventions.
Care for patients across all sections of the Emergency Department.
Utilize Cerner for electronic documentation.
Maintain patient-centered care using AIDET communication standards.
Collaborate with physicians, technicians, and multidisciplinary team members to ensure quality patient care.
Maintain accurate documentation and update patient communication boards throughout the patient's stay.
