Contract | Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | Every Other Weekend | Every Other Holiday
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care on a Med/Surg Telemetry unit as part of a flexible resource pool
Monitor and interpret telemetry data and respond to changes in patient condition
Administer medications, treatments, and nursing interventions per physician orders
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement patient care plans
Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record
Required Qualifications
Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Iowa
Current BLS certification
Experience in Med/Surg or Telemetry nursing
Ability to read and interpret telemetry rhythms
Availability to work night shifts, every other weekend, and every other holiday
Preferred Experience / Skills
Prior experience working in a resource pool or float pool capacity
ACLS certification
Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
