Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Department Weekend Only Shift

Emergency Nurse – Emergency Department

Shift Length: 12-hour shifts Weekend Requirements: Scheduled for weekends as needed Contract Length: Minimum 10 weeks

Years of Experience: 2 years required (may consider candidates with 1.5 years) Trauma Experience: Level II trauma required; Level I trauma experience strongly preferred Certifications: TNCC (must have before submission), ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIH (may pend until compliance due date) Travel Experience: Preferred; first-time travelers may be considered if trauma criteria are met

Provide emergency care to patients across a range of ages from adolescents to geriatrics. Conduct triage and manage multiple patients efficiently in a high-traffic environment. Administer medications and perform IV starts, including the management of ventilated patients. Monitor patients for any changes in condition and interpret dysrhythmias. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to facilitate patient care and admission to appropriate units.

Drug screening required within 30 days of start. Background checks required before hire. Flu vaccine is required, with exemptions allowed. Time off/return-to-work notes: RTO greater than 7 days needs approval; no locals within 100-mile radius.
