Master's degree from an accredited school of Social Work

State licensure as a Clinical Social Worker required within two years of employment
Experience in a health care setting

Responsible for the assessment and delivery of psychosocial services to inpatients of the Behavioral Health Unit.
May provide evaluation to the Emergency Room and medical units for referred patients.
Provides psychosocial services including assessment, diagnosis, group therapy, family therapy, discharge planning, care coordination, psychoeducation, and psychotherapeutic treatment for patients experiencing acute mental health issues.
This position includes review and oversight of social work functions within the unit.
Responsible for addressing patient needs and ensuring proper care coordination.
Maintains accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record.
Adheres to all professional standards and guidelines in social work practice.
