Industrial Maintenance Machinist

PMX Industries is seeking skilled Industrial Maintenance Machinists to join our maintenance team in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Additional $0.70/hour night shift differential.

What you'll do: set up and operate manual machine tools, including lathes, milling machines, drill presses, hydraulic presses, band saws, and other machining equipment. Fabricate and repair parts, tools, and machine components. Select and install tooling, fixtures, and cutting equipment. Perform equipment maintenance and routine machine upkeep. Troubleshoot machining and equipment issues. Track jobs and parts using computer software. Follow ISO standards, quality requirements, and safety procedures.

Qualifications: trade school training and/or a minimum of two years of industrial maintenance machining experience. Ability to operate overhead cranes and forklifts, or willingness to learn. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in an industrial environment. Experience in a heavy industrial or manufacturing environment.
