Part-Time D Shift Direct Support Professional

Direct Support ProfessionalDirect Support Professionals (DSPs) provide daily support to individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities, helping them live independently, safely, and meaningfully in their communities. This is a rewarding entry-level healthcare and human services role with paid training and growth opportunities. No prior experience required.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport individuals with daily living activities such as cooking, cleaning, laundry, and household routinesAssist with personal care, hygiene, and medication support according to training and care plansTransport and accompany individuals to appointments, work, errands, and community activitiesEncourage independence, social engagement, hobbies, and personal interestsSupport individuals in learning life skills, job skills, and community participationComplete habilitation activities and required documentation accurately and on timeFollow all health, safety, behavioral, and individual support plansRequired QualificationsMust be at least 19 years of ageHigh school diploma or GEDValid driver's license and current auto insuranceReliable vehicle for transportation during shiftsAbility to pass required background checksAbility to complete job-related training and certificationsNo degree or prior experience required.
