divh2Courier - Casual/h2pJob Category: Patient Services/ppPart-Time/ppOn-site/ppIndiana, PA 15701, USA/ph3Description/h3pIn this role you will be:/pulliPick up and deliver items including medical records, laboratory specimens, medications, sterile supplies, interdepartmental mail, and other hospital materials./liliOperate hospital vehicles or walk designated routes to complete deliveries across hospital campuses or external locations./liliEnsure proper handling and security of sensitive, confidential, or hazardous materials, following HIPAA, OSHA, and DOT regulations./liliMaintain accurate delivery logs and obtain signatures for all pickups and drop-offs./liliRespond to urgent and stat requests promptly and professionally./liliReporting any issues or required maintenance on courier vehicles./liliAdhere to hospital infection prevention and safety protocols, including wearing appropriate PPE./liliMaintain a professional and courteous demeanor while interacting with staff, patients, and the public./liliAssist with sorting, loading, and unloading deliveries as needed./liliPerform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or department leadership./li/ulpstrongOther Duties/strong/ppPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
