Supports all Philadelphia supply needs by effective management of supplier base, cost management, and timely deliveries. Adds a managerial perspective to Purchasing due to experience in the industry.

Set goals to track KPI's and measure results in accordance with the site's vision and goals of 2-3% savings year over year. Utilize data analytics to review supplier performance on KPI's and drive continuous improvements.

• Support existing and new component purchases with the selection of the most capable, cost-effective suppliers to meet the material specifications.
• Drive Vendor Management to ensure the highest level of quality and service. Selects and partners with key suppliers to ensure cost-effective, high-quality delivery of products.
• Partner with key functions, including finance, estimating, business development, and operations to drive results that align to the site's goals and objectives.
• Develop innovative and bold strategies to drive savings in new ways while managing, engaging, and promoting continuous cost reduction and quality improvement efforts.
• Be a liaison between vendors, business units, and operations teams, to deal with material or service issues in a timely fashion.
• Identify and leverage opportunities for continuous improvement and manage financial risk. Develop strong relationships with all internal shareholders to maintain positive relations with peers and the site leadership team to ensure key deliverables are met.
• Manage inventory levels, warehouse capacity, and slow-moving inventory.
• This position may require overtime and/or weekend work. This position may require travel by airplane and/or car up to 10% of the year.
• Knowledge of and adherence to all PCI, cGMP, and GCP policies, procedures, rules. Ensure adherence to all company policies and processes for the entire Procurement team.

Bachelor's Degree in a related field and/or 5-10 years related experience and/or training.

• Intermediate Computer Skills: Ability to perform more complex computer tasks and has knowledge of various computer programs.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where there is only limited standardization. High Standard of Report Writing
