Draw quality blood samples from patients using established techniques, including pediatric and geriatric collections – Prepare specimens for laboratory testing in accordance with safety and procedural standards – Verify patient demographic information and ensure proper labeling of specimens, obtaining patient signatures post-venipuncture – Maintain accurate records and documentation for each collection – Create a professional, safe, and trusting environment for patients during specimen collection – Follow all policies and procedures related to safety, confidentiality, and quality standards – Perform duties independently and efficiently, with attention to detail in high-volume settings – Collaborate with healthcare team members and communicate openly with patients and staff – Cover multiple locations as needed, including Patient Service Centers and in-office phlebotomy sites, with flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Excellent phlebotomy skills, with proficiency in pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections – Ability to work independently with minimal supervision – Strong attention to detail to ensure error-free specimen collection and labeling – Good communication skills to explain procedures clearly and build trust with patients – Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume environment – Customer service focus and professional demeanor – Basic keyboard and data entry skills for documentation purposes

High school diploma or equivalent required; medical assistant or paramedic training preferred – Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in California, Nevada, and Washington – 1-3 years of recent phlebotomy experience, including pediatric and geriatric collections; 2 years of experience in a Patient Service Center preferred – Ability to travel and work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, to cover various locations – Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and clean driving record if applicable – Must demonstrate commitment to safety, confidentiality, and excellence in patient care
