Description:
Position specializes in orthopedics.
The role involves working 3x12s night shifts.
The unit consists of 38 beds.
The nurse will work every other weekend.
There is a requirement to float to other Med Surg departments as needed.
Candidates must ideally have no more than 5 days of requested time off.
The client may call-off up to 36 hours per thirteen-week assignment without compensation for the canceled hours.
All candidates must confirm they can meet compliance needs in a timely manner.
The role includes caring for patients undergoing orthopedic elective surgeries.
Patient diagnoses may include total joint replacements, spine surgeries, and other orthopedic interventions.
Special procedures may involve traction, bedside debridement, and complex dressing changes.
Candidates should be familiar with using IV pumps and vital sign monitors.
The patient population includes adults and geriatrics.
Must be willing to float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals.
