What You'll Do
Provide expert ICU nursing care for a diverse patient population, including those with impella and NxStage devices
Monitor patients using advanced equipment such as Alaris IV Pumps, Servo I ventilators, Edwards Lifesciences monitors, and more
Perform lab sticks, EKGs, line starts, and operate complex medical devices
Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans
Float to various units including ICUs, ED, PACU, and MS/PCU as needed
Ensure infection control and safety standards, including caring for isolation patients with appropriate PPE
What You Need
Required:

• Valid RN license in Louisiana
• 2+ years ICU experience, including impella and NxStage devices familiarity
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPI, NIH (CPI available on-site)
• Ability to work scheduled weekends and float to multiple units
• Strong clinical skills, critical thinking, and teamwork

Preferred:
Epic electronic health record experience
Experience caring for COVID-19 and other infectious disease patients
