Mail ClerkCandidates who receive an offer will be required to successfully complete a background check and drug test as a condition of employment.Job Title: Mail ClerkLocation: Dearborn, MI (Onsite)Duration: 3 Months (Temp to Hire)Schedule: Mon-Fri, 8am - 5pmOverview:Daily the temp will be opening/sorting mail, auditing digital documents for accuracy, digitizing physical papers on the scanners. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who does not need constant instruction on what needs to be done. They need to have basic computer skills. They need to understand how to conduct themselves in a professional environment. The best candidate will be one who learns quickly and is able to not get involved in office politics. This position involves sitting at a desk and computer for most of the day. Parking is free, only the North side of the building is open. There is no definite end date, this is a temp to engage position. If the selected individual works well they are likely to be direct hired.Requirements:• Requires high school diploma or GED and 1-2 years of related work experience.• Some related copy job experience is preferred.• May require valid driver's license and minimum levels of auto insurance coverage per Ricoh.• Demonstrate competency in basic computer skills including proficiency in MS Office Suite.• Working knowledge of copier and other related equipment and repair is preferred.• Requires knowledge and understanding of shipping/receiving procedures.• Basis electronics knowledge is preferred.• Possesses ability to work independently and flexibly to complete projects.• Possesses ability to determine correct method and packing material as well as check packing slips for accuracy of incoming materials.• Possesses ability to comprehend instructions concerning mail delivery.• Possesses troubleshooting and problem solving skills.• Possesses ability to read and comprehend written technical information in the form of manuals, parts books and related publications.• Possesses excellent customer relations skills and excellent verbal communication skills.Metasys Technologies/NVISH is an equal opportunity employer.
