Head of Bank Products

Position Overview This Product Manager role supports the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland by providing project and resource planning, coordination, communication, and supervision of staff activities across multiple business units. The role manages product portfolios, identifies new business and/or product opportunities, and collaborates with U.S. Treasury to conduct market and agency research, develop product roadmaps and release schedules. It serves as a key partner across the organization and may lead senior professionals or managers.

Key Accountabilities Define product vision and launch new products.

Lead development of departmental or organizational strategic and tactical plans.

Work with stakeholders and executives to recommend and build business cases and detailed plans.

Define and deliver clear functional and non‑functional requirements for multiple complex business units.

Develop and communicate a product roadmap detailing priorities and timing of deliverables.

Create and communicate UX standards and provide strategic direction.

Act as escalation point to resolve product issues and manage risk.

Coach and adhere to Scrum and agile practices for product management.

Serve as subject matter expert for programs.

Achieve departmental performance metrics, project deliverables on time, within scope and budget.

Ensure compliance with Bank and Treasury controls, including SAFR/FISMA requirements.

Drive innovation and continuous improvement culture.

Plan and manage moderate to complex projects.

Manage staff, including performance management, career development, coaching, and mentoring.

Participate and/or lead committees or task forces to advance functional or Bank initiatives.

Lead and manage application development teams, ensuring optimal resource allocation and project delivery.

Perform administrative and budgeting operations.

Perform other duties as assigned or requested.

Educational and Experience Requirements Product Manager I – Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of related experience OR Master’s degree and 3 years of related experience.

Product Manager II – Bachelor’s degree and 7 years of related experience OR Master’s degree and 5 years of related experience.

Product Manager III – Bachelor’s degree and 9+ years of related experience OR Master’s degree and 7 years of related experience.

Knowledge, Skills & Capabilities Ability to develop and manage high‑performing teams.

Strong business acumen and analytical skills.

Excellent communication and executive presentation skills.

Knowledge of regulations, procedures and practices of financial products.

Ability to conduct independent research and perform routine tasks.

Experience in product strategy within a complex payments environment.

Proven experience with Salesforce CRM platform, including best practices.

Eligibility U.S. citizen.

Location Cleveland, OH.

Salary Range Product Manager I: $111,400 – $139,200 annually.

Product Manager II: $123,700 – $154,600 annually.

Product Manager III: $137,000 – $171,300 annually.
