PointOne is reinventing how law firms operate. Our AI‑powered timekeeper helps attorneys capture billable time automatically and provides rich insights that transform how legal work is managed. We’re a venture‑backed startup (Y Combinator, Bessemer, 8VC, General Catalyst) made up of software engineers (Jane Street, Google, Stanford, Princeton) and ex‑attorneys. Following an excellent seed round and rapid customer adoption, we are continuing to quickly scale our engineering team before we raise our SeriesA.

2-5 years of experience at hyper‑growth startups and/or leading big tech companies

You’ll gain exposure to AI, serverless architecture, and the business of law while owning high‑impact projects.

A lot of AI tools have trouble showing real impact. Not us—we deliver hard ROI to our customers (which is one reason why we’re one of the stickiest tools in a law firm). Equity: We want to bet on ourselves and our employees—we offer a highly competitive equity component with any compensation package. Develop novel AI products, providing customers with entirely new workflows.

Work directly with customers (you’ll be visiting their offices with us) to understand needs, prioritize requests, and translate them into technical solutions.

Prototype and integrate AI pipelines (e.g., You’re excited to work in‑person at an early‑stage company, talk to customers and get your hands dirty across a variety of products and domains. To accomplish this, you will own and ship products.

You’ll talk to customers throughout the day over Teams, video and phone calls.

You’ll ship code to execute on the plan. We have a fully serverless backend built on top of AWS, consisting of a collection of Go microservices. We use React/Typescript to build client applications across web, desktop, and mobile. We create our own RAG pipelines.
