Cycle Counter / Warehouse Inventory Analysis

The Inventory Control Specialist maintains accurate inventory records and executes cycle counting programs to support production continuity and operational efficiency. This role partners with supply chain, production, and warehouse teams to ensure material availability and inventory integrity across all storage locations, managing a catalog of 1,500+ active SKUs.

Cycle Counting & Inventory Accuracy:

Plan and execute cycle count programs covering 1,500+ SKUs, ensuring inventory accuracy and timely reconciliation of all discrepancies.

Investigate and resolve inventory variances through root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions.

Maintain accurate inventory records in the ERP system by processing receipts, transfers, adjustments, and withdrawals in real time.

Assist in annual physical inventory audits and all related preparation activities.

Warehouse Operations & Material Handling:

Organize and maintain warehouse and storage areas using 5S principles, ensuring proper labeling, location assignments, and accessibility.

Operate forklift and pallet jack to move, stage, and locate materials as needed.

Coordinate with the receiving team to verify incoming materials against purchase orders and update inventory accordingly.

Develop and document inventory control procedures and best practices.

Monitor slow-moving, excess, and obsolete inventory and generate reports to support disposition decisions.

Support production scheduling by communicating material shortages, overages, and availability status.

Collaborate with supply chain and purchasing teams to improve procurement accuracy and reduce inventory discrepancies.

High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business preferred.

2+ years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or supply chain.

Proficiency in ERP systems with strong data entry accuracy and computer skills.

Valid forklift certification or ability to obtain upon hire.

Familiarity with 5S and lean inventory practices preferred.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 to $28.00 per hour
