Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Cath Lab position requiring a minimum of 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience, with on-call responsibilities and rotating weekend call shifts.
Details

• Work in a hospital Cath Lab unit serving an adult patient population
• Average daily census of 4-8 patients across 2 procedure rooms
• Day shift schedule: 4x10-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM
• 3 on-call shifts per week, including 3 weekend call shifts per month
• Must be able to reach the facility within 30 minutes when on call
• Holiday coverage required as scheduled, including 1 holiday shift (which may include the day before or after the holiday)
• Floating required within specialty, to other units, and to sister facilities within scope
• Required procedures: sedation or circulation for Left Heart Cath, STEMIs, PCI, Right Heart Cath, pericardiocentesis, and temporary pacing wires
• Preferred procedures: sedation or circulation for pacemakers, Bi-V/ICD implantable devices, and Inari for PE cases
• 13-week contract

Active MD or Compact RN license required
Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience required
Critical care or ED experience required
Ability to sedate or circulate for Left Heart Cath, STEMIs, PCI, Right Heart Cath, pericardiocentesis, and temporary pacing wires required
Must be able to meet a 30-minute call-back response time when on call
