Systems Engineering - Defense

Full‑time position with Synergy ECP.

Founded in 2007 and headquartered in Columbia, Maryland, Synergy ECP is a leading provider of cybersecurity, software and systems engineering and IT services to the U.S. intelligence and defense communities.

Lead technical studies on servers, storage, and network infrastructure to support the program's system architecture decisions for sustaining worldwide enterprise operations.

Oversee and manage a high‑priority, multi‑year, on‑site technical task focused on consolidating enterprise server sites.

Analyze users' requirements, concept of operations documents, and high‑level system architectures to formulate system requirements specifications.

Guide users in requirement formulation and provide expertise in system development and implementation planning.

Interact with Government stakeholders to address Systems Engineering technical considerations, resolve problems, and manage conflicts.

Ensure the technical integrity of work performed and deliverables associated with the Systems Engineering area of responsibility.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Minimum of 9 years of experience in systems engineering, preferably in support of large‑scale enterprise operations.

Proficiency in analyzing user requirements, developing system specifications, and guiding system development and implementation.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead technical teams and manage complex projects.

Travel: Some travel may be required based on project needs.
