State License: Valid state licensure as a Dental Hygienist with current certification to perform dental hygiene procedures.

Software Proficiency: Familiarity with dental software systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix for managing electronic health records (EHR).

Clinical Knowledge: Proficiency in dental terminology, medical terminology, and medical coding for accurate documentation and billing.

Equipment & Infection Control: Knowledge of dental equipment operation, including ultrasonic scalers, handpieces, and radiography units, as well as healthcare infection prevention and control practices.

Communication Skills: Excellent client communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively about their oral health needs.

Job Description

Overview: Join our dynamic dental team as a Dental Hygienist to deliver comprehensive oral healthcare and foster positive patient experiences.

Cleanings & Radiographs: Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing, and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) using specialized dental equipment.

Patient Assessment & Education: Assess vital signs and medical history, and educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions.

Chairside Assisting: Assist dentists during various procedures with chairside assisting to ensure smooth workflow and patient comfort.

Record Management & Infection Control: Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) using Eaglesoft or Dentrix, following strict infection control and HIPAA compliance standards.
