Janitorial Maintenance/Cleaning - Part-Time

At New Story Schools, we serve students ages 521 with autism and emotional, behavioral, and developmental challenges. As a Part-time Custodian at New Story Schools, you will help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment that supports student learning and daily school operations. High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Prior custodial or facility cleaning experience preferred

Knowledge of cleaning methods, sanitation procedures, and safe handling of chemicals

Ability to operate custodial equipment such as vacuums and floor machines

Ability to lift and move equipment and materials (up to 50 lbs.)

Restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, and hygiene materials

Respond to spills, urgent cleaning needs, and sanitation requests

Report maintenance or safety concerns to leadership

Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies in safe working condition

Assist with deep cleaning projects and seasonal facility needs
