Registered Nurse – Med Surg Tele

Weekly pay: 1,808 – 1,903 per week | Shift: 3x12 Days | Facility type: Critical Access Hospital

This travel opportunity places an experienced RN in a Med Surg Tele unit within a critical access setting. The assignment requires travel, with an orientation period and unit-specific onboarding completed prior to start. The role involves telemetry patient care for adults and geriatrics, with rotation and float to cover unit needs.

Weekly pay: $1,808 – $1,903 per week

• Contract duration: Shift: 3x12-hour days
• Facility/work setting: Critical Access Hospital in a Med Surg Tele environment

Provide direct patient care for adults and geriatric Med Surg Tele patients, including routine assessments and ongoing monitoring.

• Telemetry management: interpret dysrhythmias, respond to rhythm changes, and participate in rapid response or code events as needed.
• IV therapy and blood product administration; Non-invasive airway support including BiPAP/CPAP, HFNC, and standard oxygen therapy; Wound care, phlebotomy, port access/maintenance, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams (RT, PT, radiology, pharmacy, unit secretary, interpretation services).
• EPIC charting and timely documentation; participate in unit operations, including float coverage and adherence to patient safety protocols.

Active NY RN license in hand at submission

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Med Surg Tele (travel experience preferred)
• Prior travel experience required; unit does not accept first-time travelers
• EPIC charting experience required
• Ability to float to other units as needed during the assignment
• Travel distance requirements: Locals should be greater than 50 miles from the assignment; 24/7 recruiter and travel support
