CNC Machinist - Machine Shop

Programming is not required. Great opportunity for a machinist who enjoys machining large parts and working in a short run / job shop environment./ppDUTIES OF THE CNC MACHINIST - MILLS:/pulliSet-up and operate the HBMs (Horizontal Boring/Milling Machines)/liliSet up, adjust, and operate various sizes of horizontal CNC machines including Toyoda HMC, Toshiba HMC, and Hyundai HBM/liliWork with and obtain tight tolerances on parts, checking own work with measuring instruments and documenting results/liliWork from routings, process sheets, die drawings and blueprints/liliAssist with program edits to select speeds, feeds, tooling, and operational sequence/liliProve out and make minor edits to CNC programs via through the programmer lead/liliPosition, align and secure work piece. May require the use of locating fixtures/liliSelect and prepare tools to meet varying conditions and materials as noted in the booklet release from Programmer/liliActively participate in machining team efforts and department continuous improvement activities/li/ulpREQUIREMENTS OF THE CNC MACHINIST - MILLS:/pulli5 + years minimum machining experience including setup of CNC machines/liliKnowledge of CNC machine controls, preferably Fanuc Tosnuc Controls/liliExperience with MasterCam Software is helpful but not required/liliMust have good knowledge in the use of X-Y-Z-W B axis machining/liliStrong shop math, blueprint reading, and problem-solving skills/liliGood communication skills and willingness to work well with others/liliShort run/job shop experience preferred/liliExperience machining large parts ranging from 1 15 tons and overhead crane experience is a must/li/ulpBenefits: Health, Dental, PTO, Holiday, 401K, Bonus Program/p/div
