Head of Facility Management

As a CBRE Facilities Sr. Manager, you will manage many functions of building operations and maintenance for a facility, campus, or portfolio of buildings.

This job is a part of the Facilities Management functional area which focuses on all aspects of the operations of a set of assets, providing support to the Property Managers regarding all repairs and investment plans.

Provide formal supervision to employees. Track the training and development of staff. Conduct performance evaluations and coaching. Coordinate and manage the team's daily activities. Coordinate and manage facility repairs and maintenance by working with technicians, vendors, and contractors.

Maintain positive client relationships and conduct meetings on unresolved facility issues.

Prepare and manage large and high‑profile capital projects, operating budgets, and variance reports.

Perform facility inspections quality assurance following local, state, and federal regulations. Create environmental health and safety procedures for facilities.

Review and approve purchase orders for the procurement of parts, services, and labor for projects.

Influence others to adopt a different point of view while being guided by policies and departmental plans.

Bachelor’s Degree preferred with 5‑8 years of relevant experience. Facility Management certification preferred.

Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention is preferred.

Ability to lead the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations and handle problems.

In‑depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

Ability to calculate complicated figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial‑related calculations.

Pay Disclaimer: CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. Facilities Manager position is $150,000 annually and the maximum rate for the Sr. Facilities Manager position is $175,500 annually.
