What You'll Do
Provide expert nursing care in the ICU setting for diverse patient populations
Assess patient needs and adapt care plans accordingly
Utilize the nursing process to evaluate and deliver optimal patient outcomes
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members
Document care accurately within Epic electronic health records
Lead and delegate team resources to ensure high standards of care
Educate patients and families regarding health conditions and treatments
Adhere to safety, infection control, and compliance standards at all times
What You Need
Required:
Current RN license in Louisiana
BLS, ACLS from the American Heart Association
CPI certification (12-month blue card)
Minimum 2 years of ICU RN experience
Strong communication and judgment skills
Preferred:
Bachelor's degree in Nursing
Experience with Epic documentation or similar EHR systems
Additional clinical certifications in specialty areas
