Position Summary
The Human Resources Coordinator plays a key role in supporting and facilitating HR processes across all business locations. This position is responsible for administering employee health and welfare plans, serving as a liaison between employees and insurance providers, and ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations. This role is highly administrative and detail-oriented, providing critical support across HR functions including benefits, onboarding, recruitment coordination, and HRIS management.

Key Responsibilities
Administer employee health and welfare plans, including enrollments, changes, and terminations.
Process benefits documentation with payroll and insurance providers to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Serve as a primary point of contact for employee questions related to HR programs and benefits.
Complete and maintain Form I-9 documentation in compliance with federal requirements.
Coordinate background checks and submit investigation requests for new hires.
Reconcile benefits statements and assist with audits of payroll, benefits, and HR programs.
Support employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, performance reviews, and terminations.
Assist with recruitment efforts by scheduling interviews, tracking candidate status in HRIS, and managing candidate communications.
Coordinate employee travel arrangements and logistics as needed.
Maintain accurate employee records, files, and HR documentation.
Provide general administrative support, including scheduling meetings, preparing correspondence, and managing documentation.
Perform additional HR and administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 2 years of related HR or administrative experience.
SHRM-CP certification is a plus.
Working knowledge of HR principles, practices, and procedures
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc.)
Physical Requirements
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk.
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
Must have sufficient visual acuity to read printed and digital documents.
Compensation
$32.00 - $36.00 per hour
