Legal - Paralegal - Remote

We are seeking an experienced, detail oriented Legal Assistant to join a fast paced litigation team handling first party property and general liability insurance defense matters. This is a remote position, but candidates must reside in Florida.

This role supports attorneys in high volume insurance defense litigation. Manage litigation files from intake through resolution
Schedule hearings, depositions, inspections, mediations, and client meetings
Draft and issue template discovery, including interrogatories, requests for production, and requests for admissions
Prepare discovery responses, objections, and related document production support
Draft and issue non party notices and subpoenas to medical providers, employers, vendors, custodians of records, and other third parties
Track subpoena compliance and follow up to ensure timely production
Obtain, organize, and summarize records, invoices, photographs, estimates, claim documents, medical records, and billing materials
Assist with deposition preparation, including exhibits, chronologies, and document organization
Assist with e filing, service, case management updates, and litigation task tracking
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a legal assistant in an insurance defense firm preferred
Strong experience with discovery, subpoenas, scheduling, calendaring, and litigation file management
Familiarity with Florida civil procedure, e filing, and litigation deadlines
Ability to manage high volume litigation files efficiently
Proficiency with case management systems, Microsoft Office, and e filing platforms
Discovery drafting and subpoena preparation
Insurance carrier reporting and compliance
Working with high volume litigation teams
