Project Manager I

The Project Manager I acts as the primary point of contact (POC) on customer‑specific and internally driven projects. As the POC, he or she will establish and maintain project plans, recurring action item lists (RAILS), report progress internally and externally, and manage the scope of work per the defined financial budget and deliverable schedule to ensure successful project completion.

Managing project development and execution from initiation to closure.

Working with the project sponsor (internal or external) for the initiation and execution of the phase‑gate process.

Developing and maintaining the project schedule from launch to completion.

Communicating clearly the project expectations to the project sponsor and team members.

Resolving issues and solving problems throughout the project cycle.

Tracking and providing compliance reports on project budget and milestone schedule to the project sponsor and management as requested.

Leading, coaching, and motivating members of the project team.

Capturing project results and leading post‑project evaluations to determine the level of team success and need for process improvements.

Building, developing, and growing any business relationships vital to the success of the project.

Leading or assisting efforts in creating statements of work when such is not provided by the customer.

Proactively managing changes in project scope, identifying potential risks, and devising contingency plans.

Developing customer relationships and maintaining them.

Continuously improving processes, documents, and reports.

Adhering to all factory safety procedures and guidelines.

Bachelor’s degree or four (4) years of project management or similar experience required.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

Project Management Professional (PMP) or other Project Management accredited certifications (CAPM) preferred.

Language Requirements

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Conversational in any other language is a plus.

Proficient in MS Office Suite and SharePoint.

Knowledge of ERP systems, SAP preferred.

Ability to be flexible and function comfortably in a fast‑paced, constantly changing, and ambiguous environment while maintaining a positive team environment.

Reliable and flexible to work additional hours on short notice to complete orders and/or special projects to meet customer demands.

participation in continuous improvement projects and 5S performance teams.

Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Writing skills are required to complete documents and forms.
