Overview
We are seeking a Systems Administrator to join our Task Order proposal on the Defense Intelligence Agency’s Solutions for the Information Technology Enterprise III (SITE III). The role maintains smooth operation of multi‑user computer systems, coordinating with network engineers to support federal government customers. TekSynap is a fast‑growing high‑tech company committed to providing a comprehensive information management environment.

Responsibilities

Monitors and manages system resources, including CPU usage, disk usage, and response times to maintain operating efficiency.

Performs systems security administration functions, including creating user profiles and accounts.

Sets up administrator accounts, maintains system documentation, tunes system performance, installs system‑wide software, and allocates mass storage space.

Interacts with users and evaluates vendor products; makes recommendations for hardware and software purchases, coordinates installation, and provides backup and recovery support.

Develops and monitors policies and standards for allocation of computing resources.

May be assigned responsibility for less experienced staff.

Required Qualifications

Active TS/SCI + CI Poly clearance

High school diploma, 9-11 years of relevant experience; Bachelor’s degree, 3-5 years; Master’s degree, 0-3 years

One of the following DoD 8570/CS‑NET‑451 certifications (Security+, SSCP, CySA+, GSEC)

Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate

MCSA / MCSE

RHCSA / RHCE

Linux+

VMware VCP

Nutanix NCP

Azure Administrator (AZ‑104)

AWS SysOps Administrator

CASP+

CISSP

SCAP / STIG implementation training

ACAS / Nessus experience

ITIL4 Foundation

HDI certifications

Location: Annapolis Junction, MD

Type of environment: Varies

Noise level: Low

Work schedule: Non‑standard shift

Amount of travel: 20%

Regular use: hands to grip, handle, reach; speak and listen; lift up to 50 pounds

Salary
Target salary range: $116,000.00 - $134,000.00.
