Grounds Keeper/Landscaping

GroundskeeperThe Groundskeeper will be responsible for the upkeep of the facility grounds.Duties & Responsibilities:Maintains landscaping including lawns, shrubbery, planted areas, fences, concrete areas, etc.Landscapes new ground areas, repairs damaged ground areas, and/or replaces bushes, hedges, shrubs and trees.Inspects grounds and equipment daily to ensure safety and identify necessary repairs.Performs general maintenance work of the facilities and grounds.Cleans grounds and related areas.Inspect and perform light maintenance on landscaping maintenance equipment as necessary.Other duties as assigned.Education & Experience:High School diploma or equivalent preferred.3+ years of landscaping/lawn care experience.Valid driver's license required.Experience using power tools such as weed cutter, lawn mower, hedge trimmer, edger, leaf vacuum, blower, etc.Skills & Abilities:Ability to exert 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25-50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly.Must be able to withstand exposure to the elements -heat, cold, rain, wind, snow, etc.Ability to stand for long periods of time.Ability to walk for long periods of time on different types of terrain.Must be able to bend, sit, squat, stand, crawl, walk and reach above shoulder.
