Estimator / Junior Estimator - Construction

Uprite Construction is seeking a Junior Estimator to join our growing Preconstruction team in Irvine, California, Plano, Texas, Phoenix, Arizona, or Roseville, California. This role is ideal for an estimator who has already gained experience estimating commercial construction projects while working for a commercial general contractor and is ready to continue developing within a collaborative and fast paced environment.

The Junior Estimator will work closely with Senior Estimators and Preconstruction Managers to prepare accurate estimates, perform quantity takeoffs, evaluate subcontractor proposals, and support the preconstruction process from conceptual budgeting through final bid submission.

Solicit, review, and analyze subcontractor and supplier proposals

Review plans, specifications, and contract documents

Maintain subcontractor relationships and assist with bid leveling

Assist with project budgeting and estimate updates throughout design

Coordinate with Operations to ensure a smooth project handoff after award

What You'll Bring 2 or more years of commercial construction estimating experience

Must have estimating experience working directly for a commercial general contractor

Experience estimating ground up commercial construction projects preferred

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
