Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist Float to join our team in Hyattsville and surrounding areas
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 6:00am – 6:30pm (hours vary); every other Saturday 7:00am – 11:00am
Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
Process billing information and collect payments when required
Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
Provide superior customer service to all patients
Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
High school diploma or GED or equivalent
Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist

1 year or more of phlebotomy experience

In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency may meet requirements
Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
Comfortable working under minimal supervision
Flexibility to work overtime as needed
Travel to additional sites

As a Float Phlebotomist, you will have the opportunity to quickly gain a vast amount of experience. You will be working with a variety of patients, team members, and clinics/locations. This position requires you to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Subject to applicable law, all prospective hires will need to provide proof of being fully vaccinated for COVID-19 or qualify for medical or religious accommodations.

• Sign on Bonus $1500.00 (external applicants only)
• *Pay Range: $17.75 - $26.00 per hour

All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.
PST’s may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics
Additional $1.00/hr plus mileage reimbursement
