Craft Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patients' requirements and create personalized therapy strategies to help them achieve their functional aspirations
Collaborate Across Disciplines: Work closely with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, doctors, and nurses to provide well-rounded, holistic care
Teach patients and caregivers about therapy techniques that will aid ongoing progress outside of sessions
Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
Valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification required
A genuine passion for helping others and a drive to support them in achieving their maximum independence
Creative problem-solving abilities to adapt plans to a variety of circumstances
Confidence in working independently as well as being part of a close-knit, interdisciplinary group
