About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Email Marketing Manager to plan, execute, and optimize data-driven email marketing programs that generate engagement, qualified leads, and revenue.

This is a full-time, hybrid position based in Burlingame, CA, with flexibility to work remotely part of the week. The role reports to the Head of Digital Marketing.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, build, and execute email campaigns using platforms such as HubSpot, Marketo, Salesforce, or ActiveCampaign.

Create audience segments based on demographics, behavior, and engagement history.

Develop lead-nurturing workflows and automated customer journeys across the marketing funnel.

Track and optimize open rates, click-through rates, conversions, deliverability, and ROI.

Conduct A/B tests across subject lines, content, layouts, CTAs, and send times.

Maintain CRM data quality, list hygiene, consent records, and email deliverability.

Collaborate with digital marketing, SEO, content, and sales teams to support integrated campaigns.

Establish lead-scoring criteria and qualified-lead handoff processes with the sales team.

Ensure compliance with CAN-SPAM, GDPR, CCPA, and email marketing best practices.

Present campaign insights and recommendations to internal and client stakeholders.

What We’re Looking For:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

3-5 years of experience in email marketing, lifecycle marketing, or digital marketing.

Hands-on experience with marketing automation and CRM platforms.

Strong expertise in audience segmentation, lead generation, nurture campaigns, analytics, and A/B testing.

Excellent written communication, project management, and attention to detail.

Ability to manage multiple campaigns and collaborate effectively in a hybrid, cross-functional environment.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with e-commerce campaigns, including abandoned-cart recovery.

Understanding of SPF, DKIM, DMARC, and email deliverability.

Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS for email customization.

Familiarity with APIs, webhooks, and marketing-system integrations.

Relevant certifications from HubSpot, Marketo, Salesforce, or similar platforms.

Agency or enterprise-client experience.

AI & Technology:
The ideal candidate should be comfortable using AI-powered tools to:

Develop and optimize email copy, subject lines, and preview text.

Improve audience segmentation, personalization, and send-time optimization.

Build intelligent, behavior-based automation workflows.

Analyze campaign data, identify trends, and generate actionable insights.

Experiment with emerging AI tools while maintaining brand consistency, accuracy, and compliance.
