The Infusion Nurse will contribute to the company's growth by providing direct patient care at our clinics in Emerson, Paramus, Morristown, Edison, Middletown, Freehold, NJ. The Infusion Nurse will make sure our patients receive the highest level of care possible in infusion therapy. The Infusion Nurse role is perfect for those wishing to remain at the forefront of healthcare innovation, while having predictable hours, autonomy, and a manageable workload (always a 3:1 patient to clinician ratio).
Schedule: 4 - 10 hour shifts, which will include one Saturday a month; Assess and document the health status of the patient
Assist in maintaining medical inventory and supplies
Openly communicate with referring/prescribing providers, such as order clarification, patient status, and plan of care
Provide onsite supervision for all patients
Current RN licensure in New Jersey, and open to getting licensure in another state
Experience in outpatient infusion therapy, working in a clinical setting, seeing multiple patients at one time
Comfortable working autonomously, inserting 5+ peripheral IVs per shift
Excellent IV skills (infusion therapy experience a plus)
Experience and strong familiarity utilizing Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems
Ability to work 1 to 2 Saturday's a month
