This role involves assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting nursing care for patients in accordance with organizational policies and professional standards. The position focuses on delivering high-quality nursing services, utilizing specialized knowledge, judgment, and clinical skills to meet patient needs across various age groups. Job Details Certifications: Must possess a current, valid RN license in state of practice, or a valid interim or compact RN license. BLS certification is required. Education Requirements: RN licensure is mandatory; a bachelor's degree in nursing is preferred. Experience: Minimum of 1 year in an acute care hospital setting within the past 12 months in the specialty area of Progressive Care Nursing. Location Requirements: No specific geographic restrictions. Schedule: Day shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week. Additional information: Responsibilities include assessing patient physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, and discharge planning needs; formulating and revising care plans; providing direct patient care; delegating and supervising activities; evaluating patient responses; documenting care; and participating in quality improvement activities. Float: Float rotation may be required.
