JOB SUMMARY The Regional Operations Manager serves as a healthcare operations professional managing several medical clinics in a given market. Day-to-day responsibilities include leading and managing the operational flow and processes of clinics and partnering with the regional medical director to ensure the quality of care provided to patients complies with standards and ensures patient satisfaction and retention. The Regional Operations Manager requires a solid understanding of how organizational capabilities interrelate across departments.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES The Manager, Regional Healthcare Operations job description is intended to point out major responsibilities within the role, but it is not limited to these items.

Oversee the daily operations of multiple clinics within the region, ensuring efficient patient flow and resource allocation.

Manage both clinical and support staff, including hiring, training, coaching, and performance evaluations.

Foster a positive and collaborative work environment to enhance team performance and job satisfaction.

Partner with the regional medical director to monitor and improve the quality of care provided to patients.

Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, standards, and best practices.

Monitor and manage the financial performance of clinics, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

Identify and resolve complex technical and operational problems within the clinics.

Use data and analytics to drive decision-making and improve operational efficiency.

Contribute to the development and implementation of regional and organizational strategic plans.

EDUCATION AND PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE (Licensures AND Certifications) Bachelor’s degree in healthcare management or equivalent.

5 or more years of experience managing a market within a clinic or outpatient urgent care setting.

2 or more years of people management experience

Strong understand of financials with specialty in patient engagement, growth, and retention.

PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCIES (List professional knowledge, attitude, and skills required in order to work in the job) 5+ years of Managed Care/Outpatient Care experience

WORK ENVIRONMENT The majority of work responsibilities are performed in an open office setting, carrying out detailed work sitting at a desk/table and working on the computer. Travel may be required.
