Aeva is seeking to hire a talented and motivated Verification and Validation (V V) Engineer to join our EE Hardware Development Team. As a V V Hardware Engineer, you will be expected to perform a wide range of tasks in PCBA or sub-circuit bringup, characterization, verification, and validation.

Work closely with EE design engineers and other engineering teams to examine the individual PCBs, their function, and interconnections

May engage with CM’s or internal Manufacturing teams to ensure smooth roll‑out in an NPI function

Support EE team in backend design support including RMA, FA, and customer interfacing

BS or Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field

1‑4 years experience in the Electrical Hardware / product space with robust, hands‑on lab experience

Ability to analyze a design, component data sheet, user guide, or schematic to make insightful decisions

Prior experience with Python / MATLAB for test automation and data visualization

A big plus if you have experience in the automotive or Lidar industry
