Head of Product Management & Innovation

Summary

The Product Manager will take ownership of product development initiatives from concept through commercialization and will play a critical role in expanding their portfolio.

This role blends strategic vision, engineering insight, and hands‑on project leadership. You’ll manage internal engineering processes, collaborate cross‑functionally, and report progress to key stakeholders while driving innovation in a dynamic, fast‑growing environment.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the full product lifecycle from concept and design through development, implementation, and production launch.

Manage the engineering team’s efforts related to new product design, development, and release.

Develop and maintain project timelines, milestones, and resource plans aligned with corporate goals.

Implement structured product development methodologies, ensuring projects meet key criteria at each stage.

Solicit, analyze, and integrate feedback from internal stakeholders, customers, and market research.

Present product updates, performance metrics, and recommendations to senior leadership and cross‑functional stakeholders.

Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure optimal integration between mechanical and electrical systems.

Champion a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Proven experience leading product development and project implementation through structured review processes (concept → development → implementation).

Strong understanding of motor control systems — preferably DC motor control under 2 horsepower.

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent technical experience.

Proficiency with SolidWorks and the Microsoft Suite, including Project.

Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage cross‑functional teams and stakeholders.

Strong problem‑solving skills, a creative mindset, and a track record of taking initiative.

Experience in access control, automation, consumer electronics, or related electromechanical industries.
