Job Overview A law firm seeks an Immigration Attorney based in Annandale, VA, and Sterling, VA. This role offers the opportunity to represent clients at Master Calendar Hearings on an appointment-based contract basis, providing flexibility and meaningful courtroom experience.
Duties Serve as co-counsel on client matters, representing clients at Master Calendar Hearings.
Appear in person for scheduled immigration court hearings.
Advocate professionally on behalf of clients while ensuring accurate communication of case developments.
Follow attorney preparation materials and firm instructions.
Report hearing outcomes using established firm templates.
Requirements Active U.S. bar license (any jurisdiction).
1-3 years of experience practicing law.
Experience in immigration law required.
Courtroom experience preferred.
Availability during standard court business hours.
Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
Certifications Active bar membership in any U.S. jurisdiction.
Skills Strong advocacy and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with a legal team.
Proficiency in following legal procedures and firm guidelines.
