Job Description

LVN - OBGYN

• Shift: 8-hour shift between 06:00-18:00
• Weekends: Not required
• On-call: No
• Floating: Yes - to other OB/GYN outpatient clinics

• Active California LVN license required
• BLS certification required
• IV/Blood-draw or Phlebotomy certification required
• Minimum 2 years outpatient clinic experience
• Minimum 1 year of OB/GYN clinic experience
• Experience with venipuncture/venous blood draws
• Charting experience with Epic preferred

• Perform venipuncture, blood draws, and IV initiation and maintenance
• Assist with OB/GYN procedures including Pap smears, vaginal specimen collection, and IUD/Nexplanon insertion/removal
• Conduct basic assessments related to OB/GYN, including pregnancy-related care and vaginal bleeding
• Manage medication reconciliation and administer vaccines and injections
• Conduct telephone triage and follow-up calls to patients
• Communicate with pharmacies regarding refill requests

• Valid permanent California LVN with IV certification must be submitted for compliance
• Maximum return time off (RTO) of 7 days, with no RTO allowed during the first two weeks of assignment
• Required completion of pre-start compliance modules, which may be billable up to 12 hours
