Akkodis is recruiting for a Mechanical Engineer for a client in the Aurora, OH area. This is an oniste direct hire position with a pay range of $70K annually to $90K annually depending on education, experience and location. All aspects of the product life cycle are included in the position’s responsibilities, such as specification, component selection, mechanical design, prototyping, manufacturing engineering, and QA/QC of the product.

Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering

Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering preferred

Engineer-in-Training or Licensed Professional Engineer status a plus

Similar tools/technology exposure as Senior Mechanical Engineer

Experience with 3-D CAD tools (SolidEdge preferred)

Knowledge of basic electrical circuits

Hands on experience with programming languages and writing simple programs

Solid understanding or experience with metal forming operations

Exposure to 3-D printing, mold engineering and other additive processes
