S. transportation manufacturer specializing in design, engineering, and end-to-end production of heavy-duty buses, shuttles, and cargo vehicles through a custom-build, mixed-model assembly process. Each vehicle is produced in our purpose-built facility in Riverside, California supporting public agencies and private transportation providers nationwide. We are seeking a motivated Entry-Level Welder (Welder I) to join our weld team. This role provides hands-on experience with basic welding operations and exposure to a structured training environment. The position is ideal for individuals beginning their welding career and seeking to develop foundational skills under the guidance of experienced welders and supervisors.

Assist Welders in grinding structures free of sharp edges and weld protrusions

Execute coating processes as required

Participate in safety and quality training programs

1-3 years of welding experience.

• Completion of basic welding school or vocational training.
• No welding certifications required initially.

Frequent use of hands and fingers for welding, grinding, and assembly tasks

Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials and equipment up to 40 lbs; occasional lifting of heavier items with assistance

Standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and squatting for extended periods during a shift

Hand-eye coordination required for precise welding and fitting operations

Good visual acuity, including color perception and depth perception, necessary for inspecting welds and reading drawings

Environmental Conditions:

Exposure to hot and cold temperatures depending on production area and seasonal conditions

Exposure to welding fumes, dust, and airborne particles; Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Use of welding helmet, gloves, protective clothing, and other PPE as required by safety standards

The hiring range for this position is $23.00 to $27.00 per hour.
