Polysomnographic Tech
Schedule: M-W 7p-7:30a (Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday night shift)
Assignment Details:
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36 Weekly
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of recent experience within specialty
Current American Heart Association's Basic Life Support Certification (BLS)
Must possess current and unrestricted certification or registration as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT)
One year experience in sleep study activity
Roles & Responsibilities:
Prepare patients and equipment for sleep disorders testing.
Monitor polysomnographic recordings and document findings per policy.
Demonstrate expertise in sleep disorders, including activity, abnormalities, movement arousals, and respiration patterns.
Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team members.
Adhere to all safety and protocol requirements during testing.
Compliance / Notes:
~ Must work 2 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve).
