We are hiring an experienced estimator for our San Antonio location to provide expert cost analysis for our clients. Estimator Job Duties

identifying and projecting costs for each elevation.
Evaluates offers to purchase by costing changes, additions, and site requirements.
Obtains bids from vendors and subcontractors by specifying materials; identifying qualified subcontractors; Perform site visits when required to gather information to prepare a cost proposal for our clients.
Communicate with subcontractors and gain their interest in bidding on projects.
Think critically and derive the most economical options for clients while maintaining a quality product.
Maintains quality service by following organization standards.
Maintains continuity among corporate, division, and local work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
establishing personal networks; Proven experience as construction estimator
Basic understanding of accounting and project management concepts
Deep understanding of research methodology, data analysis and estimation metrics
Excellent knowledge of estimating software
Basic computer skills and software (Microsoft Office Software, more specifically Excel)
BS/BA in engineering, construction science or relevant field
Certified Professional Estimator (CPE) or other qualification will be a plus
