Job Summary A Dental Assistant supports dentists and hygienists in delivering high-quality oral care to patients. They perform a mix of clinical and administrative tasks to ensure the dental office runs smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments and equipment

Take and develop dental X-rays

Record patient medical histories and treatment information

Manage patient appointments, billing, and recordkeeping

Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols

Maintain inventory of dental supplies and materials

QualificationsSkills and Qualifications Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments

Proficiency with dental software and office systems

Certification in radiography and CPR (as required by state regulations)

Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent required

Completion of an accredited dental assisting program preferred

On-the-job training or prior experience in a dental office is an advantage

Hourly Pay Rate: Depending on Experience
