The Director, HCP Marketing is responsible for the development and execution of the Healthcare Professional (HCP) marketing strategy to drive disease awareness, brand adoption, and appropriate product utilization. This role serves as the primary owner of all HCP-facing promotional activities and collaborates closely with agency partners, commercial operations, sales, medical affairs, legal, regulatory, market access, and field teams to execute integrated omnichannel campaigns.

The position is accountable for translating brand strategy into compelling HCP experiences across paid, owned, and earned channels, while also supporting non-personal promotion (NPP), digital engagement, media planning, and optimization efforts to maximize customer impact and business performance.

Design and development and lead the execution of HCP strategy aligned with brand objectives and customer needs.

Translate customer insights, market dynamics, and competitive intelligence into actionable promotional plans.

Ensure all promotional initiatives support brand goals while maintaining a strong customer-centric focus.

Lead the development of core promotional materials and customer-facing assets, including visual aids, digital content, educational resources, and engagement tools.

Ensure messaging is clinically relevant, differentiated, and aligned with customer needs.

Manage agency teams to deliver high-quality, insight-driven content and experiences.

Identify and implement innovative opportunities for HCP engagement across live, virtual, and hybrid environments.

Partner with cross-functional teams to create impactful customer experiences that strengthen engagement with key healthcare professionals.

Evaluate and present engagement effectiveness and continuously optimize programs based on customer feedback and performance metrics.

Provide strategic leadership to agency partners to deliver high-impact, compliant marketing programs.

Accountable for marketing budgets, scopes of work, and agency performance to ensure effective resource allocation and achievement of business objectives.

Drive operational excellence through strong planning, prioritization, governance, and execution.

Lead cross-functional collaboration across Sales, Commercial Operations, Medical Affairs, Legal/Compliance, and Regulatory functions to ensure HCP marketing initiatives are strategically aligned, compliant, and effectively executed.

Synthesize complex information into clear, actionable presentations and business updates for senior leadership, driving alignment on priorities, performance, and future opportunities.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, Healthcare, or a related field; advanced degree (MBA, PharmD, MPH, PhD, or equivalent) preferred.

Minimum 10 years of pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or healthcare industry experience.

Experience developing and executing HCP-focused marketing, promotional, and engagement strategies.

Experience in specialty pharmaceuticals, rare disease, ophthalmology, oncology, immunology, or other specialty therapeutic areas is preferred.

Experience managing agencies, cross-functional teams, and marketing budgets.

Product launch and lifecycle management experience preferred.

Excellent project management, organizational, cross-functional collaboration, and communication skills.

Ability to travel up to 25%
