Job TitleThis position is the primary role for the sustainment of C5ISR equipment on Army Vessels.ResponsibilitiesEssential Job Functions:Lead the design and development of complex electronic systems.Oversee the prototyping and testing of electronic circuits and systems, utilizing advanced testing methodologies and equipment to validate designs and identify areas for optimization.Provide technical leadership and guidance to cross-functional teams, mentoring junior engineers, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.Identify potential risks and challenges early in the development process, implementing robust mitigation strategies to ensure project success and on-time delivery.Collaborate closely with hardware, software, and firmware engineers, as well as other stakeholders, to integrate electronic systems seamlessly into overall product architecture and functionality.Prepare comprehensive documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and compliance reports, ensuring traceability and compliance with regulatory requirements.Stay abreast of the latest developments in electronic engineering technologies and methodologies, proactively seeking opportunities to enhance processes and drive continuous improvement.QualificationsNecessary Skills and Knowledge:Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other relevant softwareExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environmentMinimum Qualifications:This senior position requires an engineering or technical degree with 4 years' experience working with at least 3 of the following: Navigational Radars, satellite comminution systems, integrated bridge systems, C5ISR equipment, and GMDSS.10 years of experience in electronics can be substituted for the degree requirement.This position must have overall system level expertise pertaining to the C5ISR assets installed on Army Vessels/Platforms.Must possess and maintain secret security clearance and passport.Must service Army Watercraft vessels in locations worldwide.Preferred Qualifications:Electrical/Electronic connector fabrication & cablewayRaytheon / AnschutzStandard 20 / 22 Gyro repair and maintenanceNSC ECDIS Installation and MaintenanceNSX Radar / Synapsis IBS System Installation and Maintenance.Ship Steering SystemsAdvanced steering 1Advance Steering IIIBS Integration, Radar ECDIS, Autopilot, SynapsisSperry MarineVision-Master radar and ECDIS installation and serviceGyrocompass, Speed-Log, Autopilot, Echo Sounder installation and serviceVDR / Danalec VDR Installation and MaintenanceGMDSS and Radio / ABS inspection and certification qualified inspectorNAVICO / SIMRADRadarNSS EVO 3S MFDNSO EVO3S MFDGO Series MFDMX 512 / 612 DGPSSAAB R4-R5 AIS installation and programmingSkipper speed log Installation and MaintenanceCommunications:GMDSS (Sailor 4000/5000/6000)AN/PRC-117GAN/PRC-160DTCS Radio Only Alpha (ROA) SystemJBC-P SystemJCR-LOGPay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $140,000.00 to $146,000.00 annually.
