CenterWell is a Subsidary of Humana , seeking a hard-working and dedicated Referral Coordinator, to prepare and process all managed care referral paperwork, schedules and pre-registers patients for exams and procedures with specialists and providers outside of the primary care physician's office and who is interested in being part of a team that focuses on excellent service to others.

Prepares and processes all managed care referral paperwork.

Contacts various offices/facilities to obtain necessary appointments for completing referrals.

Maintains referral records and files documentation.

Responds to patient inquiries regarding health plan referrals.

Proficient with medical terminology

Proficient with Microsoft Office applications including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook

Experience with Electronic Medical Records

Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare or Business Administration

Knowledge of ICD 10 and CPT coding

Referral experience

Medical Assistant or Professional State Certifications related to healthcare

Bilingual in English and Spanish

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
