Customer Service Receptionist - Part Time - Nights

Trinity Baptist Church is seeking a part-time receptionist who is committed to the mission and ministry of the church and will serve as the first impression of Trinity Baptist Church. Responsibilities include receiving all calls to the Main Office, welcoming and directing visitors, answering or referring inquiries, maintaining communication systems, collecting event revenue as needed, supporting weekly ministry operations, assisting guests with community resources, receiving deliveries, and performing other duties assigned by the Executive Pastor of Administration. The receptionist will maintain security procedures and provide excellent customer service to church members and guests. Candidates should possess strong organizational and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Weekly Scheduled Work Hours Monday and Thursday: 8:30 AM – Noon and 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM

Responsibilities A commitment to and knowledge of Trinity Baptist Church and its work.

Serve as the first impression of Trinity Baptist Church.

Work with communication systems (telephones, fax machines, postage machine, email, database, etc).

Weekly collect prayer request/cards and facilitate distribution to Prayer Ministry Leader.

Weekly processing of SMBS attendance. Print and distribute Wednesday Prayer List.

Notify Deacons for Sunday Deacon Transport Team. Weekly notification and update to Minister on call schedule.

Weekly e-mail Family Night Supper Menu.

Weekly notify Bank Deposit Team who is on schedule for Sunday.

Maintain record of Wednesday Prayer Group attendance.

Daily update members in the hospital list and e-mail to Trinity Staff, Deacons, and Homebound Team Leader.

Maintain copy machine with paper and toner as needed.

Notify copier maintenance service as needed.

Report to vendor any stock or maintenance issues with vending machine.

Help people needing assistance by giving them the appropriate information for Community Assistance.

Receive packages from USPS, FedEx, and UPS and email the person responsible for each package.

Weekly review Trinity website for errors and report them on the Teams App.
