Head of Project Management

Koniag IT Systems, LLC (KITS), a Koniag Government Services (KGS) company, is seeking a Project Manager to support KITS and our government customer in Baltimore, MD.

Key Responsibilities Observes, evaluates, and supervises day-to-day operations of operators in a lower classification, ensuring production efficiency aligns with daily task objectives.

Prepares and provides guidance to operators in a lower classification by conducting training, providing information, and resolving problems.

Reports project status to senior management regularly.

Prepare and communicate effective correspondence in response to administrative inquiries.

Apply administrative concepts, practices, and procedures to research materials for projects and fulfilled meeting obligations.

Compiles data from a variety of sources to interpret relevant information.

Performs related work as assigned by Contract Officer.

Skills & Behaviors Thorough knowledge of modern operating systems, networking, and MS Office software.

Thorough knowledge of clerical and reporting skills.

Ability to perform accurately, assigned routine operations on various data processing equipment.

Ability to work well both alone and in highly structured team environment.

Education, Training & Experience HS Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 10+ years of personal computer experience. (Eight years of experience in a business mailroom, print operations, and/or mail sorting experience. (Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university or successful completion of related programs in data processing and computer operations. (Experience with using loading and maneuvering equipment safely and effectively. (Candidates must be able to work Monday-Friday, 6am-2:30pm daily. (Hours may vary based on workload and candidates must be flexible)
