Schedule: Monday-Thursday Overtime when needed
Primary Shift: 2nd Shift
Training: 1st Shift
Pay: $21-$25 on 2nd Shift
Position Summary
Looking for a CNC Wood Shop Programmer to join our manufacturing team. This position is ideal for someone with experience in a CNC wood shop environment who is comfortable with CNC programming, machine operation, measurements, and hands-on woodworking/manufacturing tasks.
New hires will be assigned to 2nd Shift but will initially train on 1st Shift to learn our equipment, processes, safety procedures, and production standards.
Shift Schedule & Pay
- 1st Shift: 5:00 AM-3:00 PM, Monday-Thursday
- 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM-1:00 AM, Monday-Thursday
- Overtime: May be required as needed
Key Responsibilities
Program, set up, and operate CNC woodworking equipment.
Read and interpret drawings, measurements, cut lists, and production specifications.
Make adjustments to CNC programs and machine settings as needed.
Operate and work safely around woodworking machinery and equipment.
Measure and inspect materials to ensure accuracy and quality.
Use hand tools and power tools as required.
Perform cutting, drilling, routing, sanding, gluing, and other woodworking/manufacturing tasks.
Assemble and prepare wood components according to production requirements.
Monitor production quality and identify defects or issues.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Follow all company safety procedures and production standards.
Perform other manufacturing duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Previous CNC programming and/or CNC machine operation experience , preferably in a wood manufacturing environment.
Experience working in a CNC wood shop, cabinet shop, furniture manufacturing, or similar environment is strongly preferred.
Ability to read and understand measurements, drawings, and production specifications.
Comfortable using hand tools and power tools.
Basic understanding of woodworking materials, processes, and equipment.
Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate work.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Must be comfortable working around sawdust, wood materials, and manufacturing equipment .
